There are several shipping options for you to choose from at checkout, please choose the option that best suits your needs. Each package is ensured for the order value up to $100. If the package goes missing after shipping, we will help you file a claim with the shipper in order to be reimbursed for your order up to $100.

If you would like your package insured for the full amount over $100, please contact us at info@piecefabric.co and we will provide a quote for the extra insurance.

Shipping Update for October 16, 2025

Canada Post workers have resumed mail service, but shipping speed will still be affected by ongoing rotating strikes.

At checkout, there are choices for shipping based on carriers available for the shipping address.

United States shipping has also resumed, using Canada Post. Expect it to move slowly through the system, due to the ongoing labour action, as well as extra scrutiny from Customs. Duties and taxes will be prepaid at checkout, but state specific taxes remain the responsibility of the customer. Piece Fabric Co. cannot refund an order if extra duties or taxes are charged to the customer by the US Customs Department or by any US government authority.

Canada Post Labour Disruption Update for September 26, 2025

Canada Post workers have taken strike action, effectively halting all shipping options through Canada Post.

For orders to be shipped within Canada, there are now additional options at checkout to choose an alternate carrier. Canada Post is still shown as a shipping option, but those packages will only ship once the strike action is over, which is an undetermined length of time (the last strike lasted 32 days).

For orders to be shipped internationally, there are currently no shipping options showing at checkout as Canada Post is the only international carrier that is integrated with our website. However, we do have other options. Please email us at info@piecefabric.co with your fabric order, and we will provide a quote for international shipping.

Orders to be shipped to the US are still paused due to high tariff costs and the loss of the de minimus exemption.

US Shipping and Order update for August 21, 2015

Shipping (and therefore orders) to US addresses will be paused on August 21, 2025 until we know how tariffs will be applied. Please subscribe to our newsletter for updates or watch here.

Shipping Update for July 9, 2025

With the ongoing labour disruption at Canada Post , we are shipping with Purolator and Fedex where possible. There are some locations where that isn't feasible due to cost, and Canada Post will be used. If you have a courier preference between those three, please send us an email at info@piecefabric.co and we will advise on additional costs, if any.

Unless otherwise noted (as in patterns that are sent by lettermail or special requests to send items by lettermail), all of our packages are sent with a tracked courier.

We strive to have all orders shipped within two - three business days of the order being placed, unless otherwise noted on product page.
