Why Trailhead?

With a passion for the best hand stitching threads on the market we want you to love using our acorn threads as much as we love producing them. Tencel is a beautiful fibre made from eucalyptus trees using a non-toxic process with little impact. With its soft handle, it maintains incredible strength for a variety of uses. 

Hand-dyeing in small batches in house allows us to produce colour-ways that are 100% unique. Check out the names. They all of a fun story behind them.

Our environment stance is clear: No plastic packaging, our aluminum bobbins are reusable and recyclable.
