This design is a variation on the classic Lone Star Quilt. The Commonwealth Star is made up of diamond cut from strip sets and arranged into a radiating star design.

This quilt kit includes the Kona Cotton fabric needed to make the Baby or Large Throw size quilt top only - customize it by choosing your own backing and binding! The binding shown is Kona Evergreen, the backing is Essex Yarn-Dyed Linen in Jungle. The hand stitching was done in Aurifil 12 weight in Spring Green.
