These forest friends are excited to show off their latest finishes at tonight's guild meeting, featuring four different animals (foxes, bunnies, deer, and bears) and their 12 different patchwork quilts.

The original quilt kit from Elizabeth Hartman is kitted using Moda Bella Solids. We have colour matched it with Kona Cotton for this quilt kit. You have the option of choosing Essex Linen in Natural or Kona Cotton Natural for the background.

This quilt kit is for the Large pattern size, which includes all 12 blocks and finishes at 75" x 85". Quilt kit does not include binding, backing, batting, or pattern.

Regarding the pattern:

This is a patchwork-pieced pattern. The blocks are made entirely of rotary-cut squares and rectangles, and everything is sewn together using conventional patchwork techniques. No templates or paper piecing!

This pattern includes a large number of pieces, many of which are small, but the same basic patchwork piecing techniques are used throughout. The pattern includes detailed cutting directions, including charts that show all of the pieces included in each block. The instructions for making each block include both written directions and full-color diagrams for each step.
