The Tail Wags (A Puppy Quilt) pattern contains the instructions to make a 51" x 51.5" quilt featuring seven puppy blocks, balls and bones.

The pattern is highly adaptable, with the Front Facing Puppy (10" x 14.5" finished), the Sitting Puppy (12.5" x 14.5" finished), the Crawling Puppy (17.5" x 8.25" finished) and the Tummy Up Puppy (12.5" x 23" finished). You can make the Sitting Puppy and Crawling Puppy blocks face in two directions. The bone blocks and ball blocks form the sashing and borders of the quilt. 

This quilt uses traditional piecing techniques and relies heavily on the Stitch & Flip technique. There are some points to match, however, the pieces are large giving you wiggle room to perfect your points. This project is great for the brave beginner and seasoned piecers alike!
