With this wall of Kona, you may wonder how I ever actually decide on a fabric bundle - for myself or a customer!

I do stall out sometimes - I pull out five fabrics and slowly replace them one by one, adding... taking away.... walking away... staring at them and willing them to speak and tell me if they want to be in a quilt together (so far they haven't).

And I don't like being stuck using the same colours over and over again!  I may allow that for my own personal projects (truth time - I'm totally stuck in a red/orange phase right now), but for custom bundles and quilt kits, that just doesn't work.  I think all of you wonderful customers would notice if all of your quilts were looking the same after buying a custom bundle from Piece Fabric Co.

Actually... hmmmm..... those all look really good.  Maybe my customers wouldn't be upset....

But... I do have favourites - Kona Cotton colours that I am drawn to again and again.  Sometimes one or two are used in a project and sometimes they are all used together.  No, scratch that.  I haven't yet used all of these together.  I am going to have to change that.

And so, I made a bundle, a bundle of my favourite Kona colours. Each of these fabrics are colours that appear again and again in my work.  I'll pull a bundle together without looking at the colour names and I'll think I've  been completely original... until I look at the fabric names.  Oh look! Cayenne made another appearance.  And Pepper... of course... I can't have a quilt without Pepper. And there's Natural.  Trusty Natural.  Always happy to pull it all together. (the rest of you speak to your fabric too, right???)
